Well, this one was interesting. 

• Before the game even started, the Brewers were presented with an interesting roster connundrum. Ryan Braun was out tonight while getting his wrist checked out, Corey Hart was out with a sore back, Jim Edmonds was traded today and the newly acquired Chris Dickerson wasn't in Milwaukee yet. So the Brewers, left with two healthy outfielders, started Joe Inglett in left, Lorenzo Cain in center and Alcides Escobar in right.
• Once the game got underway, an all-too-familiar trend resurfaced, as D-Backs starter Ian Kennedy hit three Brewers (Lucroy, Escobar and Fielder) with pitches. Both benches were warned after Chris Narveson threw behind Rusty Ryal later in the game.
• The Brewers scored a run on three hits in the first, another on a hit and two HBPs in the second, and two on an HBP, two walks, a sac fly and a single in the third. All told, Ian Kennedy allowed four runs on five hits despite the fact that all five hits were singles. 
• The lead held up until the ninth, when back to back walks and a sac bunt set the table for Gerardo Parra to drive in the game tying run with a groundout up the middle.
• Trevor Hoffman came in to pitch the ninth and showed nothing of value, allowing three runs in an inning of work on three hits and two walks.
• Following Chris Narveson's third inning single, the Brewers combined to go 0-for their next 20 with a walk, going hitless until Prince Fielder, Casey McGehee and Lorenzo Cain hit three singles in a row in the tenth, loading the bases with one out. Joe Inglett flew out to shallow center and Jonathan Lucroy grounded out to end the threat.

The Diamondbacks have now won five of seven games.
